These daubers handle water-based inks, pigment inks, and various pastes with equal efficiency. The replaceable foam pads mean you can dedicate specific daubers to particular ink colors without cross-contamination, or simply swap in fresh pads when current ones become saturated. Tonic Studios offers both standard replacement pads and domed versions sold separately, letting you adapt tool performance to different techniques.
