Acrylic screen printing ink that stays workable while you print eliminates the rush between pulls. Speedball's water-based formula maintains consistent viscosity through multiple prints without skinning over on the screen, giving you time to work methodically rather than racing against drying time. The acrylic base bonds to paper, wood, and cardboard with excellent opacity, while properly primed surfaces accept the ink without bleeding or feathering.
No solvents means genuinely clean studio air, you can print for hours without ventilation concerns or chemical odors. Water cleanup extends this convenience through the entire process; screens rinse clear under the tap, and tools clean up without special solutions. Inner jar seals keep unused ink fresh between sessions, preventing the dried rim buildup that wastes material.
Mix with Speedball Extender Base to create transparent layers for color overlays, or add Retarder Base when ambient conditions demand slower drying. Standard colors handle traditional work, while Night Glo and Fluorescent options (available in 8 oz. jars) expand possibilities for posters and experimental prints. You can also brush this ink on directly for painterly effects or small editions where screen setup isn't warranted. AP Non-Toxic certification (ASTM D-4236) confirms safe studio use. Note: this formulation isn't engineered for fabric that requires laundering.
