National Artcraft - Jumbo Rubber Bands

Jumbo Rubber Bands

Secure canvases and bundle tools with industrial-strength grip

Stretching large canvases or bundling rolled prints demands bands that won't snap under tension. National Artcraft manufactures these jumbo rubber bands from pure rubber without welds, no weak points where stress concentrates and causes failure. Each band stretches reliably and returns to shape, maintaining consistent tension whether you're securing canvas to stretcher bars during priming or keeping tube-stored drawings organized.

The 5/8-inch width distributes pressure evenly across surfaces, preventing the creasing and damage that thin bands cause on delicate materials. Pure rubber construction provides the grip and elasticity needed for studio tasks: holding resist materials during dyeing, bundling tool rolls, securing fabric around embroidery hoops, or temporarily clamping glued assemblies while adhesive sets.

Three sizes handle different applications. Five-inch bands work for small bundles and tight wraps; six-inch bands suit medium tasks like securing protective paper around finished work; eight-inch bands accommodate larger diameter rolls and bulkier materials. Each pound box contains substantial quantities, 45, 35, or 20 bands respectively, enough to keep multiple projects moving without constantly replenishing supplies.
