Ranger - Tim Holtz Alcohol Ink Dura-Lar Clear
Heat-tolerant film lets alcohol inks pool and blend without absorption
A non-porous substrate that lets you move, blend, and layer alcohol inks with complete control. The 110lb weight resists buckling when you apply multiple layers or use generous amounts of blending solution, maintaining flatness through aggressive techniques. Heat tolerance means you can use a heat tool to accelerate drying or create texture effects without warping the surface.
Transparency opens creative possibilities beyond standard applications. Layer finished pieces over other artwork, photographs, or decorative papers to create dimensional mixed media compositions. The non-absorbent surface allows extended working time, inks stay wet long enough to push around, blend, and manipulate before committing to final placement. Compatible with alcohol pearls, alloys, and mixatives, this film handles the full range of alcohol ink techniques from transparent washes to metallic accents.
Each 5" × 7" sheet provides an ideal size for card fronts, journal elements, or experimental studies. Ten sheets per pack give you room to explore techniques without overthinking each attempt.
