Seven distinct grades address different technical demands. Rougher 240 and 280 grades hold multiple layers of soft pastel for bold, painterly approaches. Mid-range 320 and 400 balance tooth with control for general work. Fine 500, 600, and 800 grades suit colored pencil details and precise mark-making where excessive texture would interfere. The paper accepts underpainting from water, oil, and alcohol-based media without losing tooth or allowing seepage, structure stays intact through aggressive wet techniques.
pH-neutral, acid-free composition prevents the yellowing and degradation that compromise archival work. Engineered to minimize lignin content, the paper maintains stability over decades.
