The Delicate Surface version (#2080) drops adhesion for gentler applications: fresh paint cured just 24 hours, vinyl wallpaper, primed wallboard, wood floors. Lower tack means you can leave it up to 60 days without surface damage, ideal for complex projects requiring multiple painting sessions. Smooth to semi-smooth surfaces yield the crispest lines, perfect for striping, faux finishes, and detail work where precision matters more than aggressive hold.

Both avoid lacquer and poorly bonded surfaces. Choose based on what you're protecting: established surfaces take the multi-surface tape; newer or delicate finishes need the gentler touch.
