McGill Punchline Hand-held Punches Description

Punching holes for stitching, weaving ribbon through slots, or attaching embellishments requires precision placement and consistent results. McGill's Punchline hand punches deliver both through thoughtful design details that matter during actual use. The vinyl-cushioned grip handles extended sessions comfortably, while the two-inch reach lets you position holes anywhere within your project rather than being limited to edges.

The built-in receptacle catches punch waste, eliminating the constant cleanup that interrupts creative flow. These punches cut cleanly through materials up to 3/16 inch thick, paper, cardstock, craft foam, thin leather, ribbon, and plastic all punch without tearing or distortion. Removable handles come off for thorough cleaning when adhesive residue or ink accumulates.

The Buttonhole punch creates two parallel 1/16-inch holes for functional stitching with thread or floss, or for attaching buttons and charms with wire or cord. The Ribbon Stitch punch cuts two parallel slots at 5/8-inch height, sized perfectly for weaving ribbon, yarn, or paper strips through for decorative borders and tied bows. Both styles maintain precise spacing between holes, ensuring professional results whether you're preparing greeting cards for hand-stitching, creating woven paper borders, or adding dimensional embellishments to scrapbook pages.
