The Logan Team System handles everything from single exhibition mats to high-volume frame shop cutting, maintaining accuracy through thousands of cuts. Rubber-backed straight edges grip the work surface firmly, eliminating the shift and slip that ruins careful measurements; nylon bearings glide smoothly along the guide bar, ensuring consistent pressure and clean cuts every time.
Start and stop lines prevent the frustrating overcuts that damage corners and waste expensive mat board. Detailed scales provide instant visual reference for measurements without constant rechecking. Both the 24-inch Logan 424 and 40-inch Logan 440 accommodate standard and oversized mat board; you can also mount the Model 701 Straight Cutter or Model 500 Mat Knife directly to the system for sizing sheets and cutting foam board. Each cutter includes five blades to get you started; replacement #270 blades maintain that factory-sharp edge when cutting performance begins to degrade. Choose the 24-inch for studio work or the 40-inch when production demands require maximum cutting capacity.
