Once dry, the surface accepts nearly any medium, acrylics layer smoothly over it, oils adhere without preparation, and dry media like graphite or pastel grip the matte finish. Cured paste reaches genuine stone hardness. You can carve it with chisels, sand it smooth, or drill through it for mixed-media assemblage.
