The .002-inch thickness cuts cleanly without tearing yet remains flexible enough to conform around curves and irregular edges. Low-tack adhesive grips watercolor paper, illustration board, and canvas surfaces firmly enough to prevent paint bleed while releasing without pulling up underlying layers or leaving sticky residue behind.
Translucent backing lets you see exactly what you're masking, essential when positioning complex shapes or working around existing details. The film handles moisture from airbrush application and watercolor washes without wrinkling or lifting at the edges, maintaining crisp boundaries through multiple layers. Cut stencils remain stable for repeated use, position, spray, lift, reposition on another area.
Works across techniques: mask hard edges for airbrushing, protect areas during watercolor washes, create stencils for rubber stamping, or cover sections during mixed media layering. Available in 9 x 12-inch sheets, twelve per pack, in either clear for maximum visibility or matte for reduced glare under studio lighting.
