Faber-Castell Mixed Media Stencils Description

Laser-cut precision transforms hand-illustrated patterns into clean, repeatable elements for layered compositions. These 6½-inch square stencils handle dry and wet media applications, trace with pencils, spray with inks, stamp through openings, or build up texture with modeling paste. Each pack contains ten designs cut into durable paper stock that maintains crisp edges through multiple uses.

The perforated format lets you separate individual motifs or keep full sheets intact for larger pattern work. Designs range from geometric repeats to organic shapes and letterforms, providing building blocks for backgrounds, borders, and focal elements. Paper construction flexes enough to conform to slightly curved surfaces while staying rigid enough for controlled application.

For raised effects, work Gelatos or texture paste through the openings; the stencil thickness creates dimensional patterns that catch light and shadow. Repositionable adhesive spray holds stencils flat during airbrushing or spray ink application, preventing paint creep under edges. You can also seal these stencils with fixative or varnish to extend their lifespan when working with particularly wet media. Clean after use and they'll handle dozens of projects before showing wear.
