Linseed oil transformed through heat-polymerization develops a viscous, honey-like consistency that fundamentally changes how oil paint behaves. Eco-House Standoil eliminates the yellowing and brittleness associated with raw linseed oil while dramatically increasing the depth and durability of dried paint films. This pre-polymerized oil produces an enamel-like finish with exceptional leveling properties, brushstrokes settle into smooth, glass-like surfaces rather than remaining visible in the dried paint layer.
The thickened consistency flows differently than raw oils. Standoil extends drying time substantially, giving you hours to blend and manipulate wet paint without rushing.
