Paasche - Model VL Airbrush

Model VL Airbrush

Precision to broad coverage with three needle sizes

Swap needle, tip, and aircap assemblies to shift from delicate illustration work to textile coverage without changing tools. VL #1 components handle light fluids like diluted inks for patterns as fine as 1/64 inch; VL #3 handles medium-bodied paints up to 1-1/4 inch coverage; VL #5 pushes heavy fluids through a 1/16 to 1-1/2 inch spray. Each configuration maintains the same responsive double-action control, trigger pressure governs airflow while pull distance controls paint volume.

This siphon-feed design keeps paint in removable bottles below the airbrush body, making color changes quick and keeping the tool balanced during extended sessions. The internal mix system atomizes paint inside the aircap for consistent spray patterns across all three sizes. T-shirt artists favor this versatility for good reason: detail work and background fills happen with the same airbrush, just different components. The complete set includes all three needle/tip/aircap configurations, multiple bottle sizes, protective head cap, wrench, six-foot air hose with BSP adapter, and instruction booklet. Operates at 20-45 PSI depending on fluid viscosity and desired coverage.

Siphon Feed Side Mount

Paint is drawn from a bottle mounted on the side. Best for larger areas and thicker paints. Ideal for automotive and model painting.

Paint flows from a top-mounted cup. More efficient paint usage and better for fine detail work. Preferred by illustrators and artists.

Bottle Feed Bottom Mount

Large capacity bottles for extended painting sessions. Great for automotive and industrial applications.
