Enable wet-on-wet painting with smooth coats that stay workable
Bob Ross Liquid Base Coats aid in the painting's formulation and keep the canvas wet, the most fundamental step in Bob's technique. Smooth and slow drying, they allow blending and mixing right on the canvas (the basis of the Bob Ross wet-on-wet method). These nontoxic base coats are also used to thin other oil colors for application over thicker paint. Apply a very thin, even coat over the entire surface area using a natural bristle brush, but do not allow to dry before you begin painting. Thin only with Turpenoid Odorless Thinner. Sample each of these base coats in the value pack--one small bottle of each base coat.
