Speedball - Deluxe Block Printing Kit

Deluxe Block Printing Kit

Everything needed to carve, ink, and print block art right out of the box

Block printing demands specific tools that work together seamlessly. This comprehensive kit assembles everything you need for relief printing, from carving through inking to final impression. You get two distinct printing surfaces, traditional linoleum for fine detail and Speedy Stamp material for softer, more forgiving cuts, plus the complete range of cutters to handle different line weights and textures.

The handle accepts five interchangeable cutters (#1, #2, #3, #5, and #6 knife) that swap quickly as your design demands narrow lines, broad sweeps, or precise detail work. Speedball's water-soluble block printing inks provide the viscosity and coverage relief printing requires; the 75cc black gives you volume for larger editions, while 37cc tubes of red, blue, and yellow mix into custom colors. The included extender adjusts transparency and working time without compromising print quality. A 4-inch soft rubber brayer rolls ink evenly across carved surfaces, and the combination inking plate and bench hook keeps your workspace organized while providing a secure edge for carving.

Whether you're printing greeting cards, fabric yardage, or fine art editions, this kit eliminates the guesswork of assembling compatible tools. The included tips booklet guides you through basic techniques and troubleshooting.
