Derwent Pastel Pencils offer the creative freedom of pastels with the convenience and control of a pencil. These colorful pencils are a medium pastel with a chalky feel and hardness that is able to achieve fine lines required for detailed pastel studies. The 4 mm core produces a soft, powdery texture for a velvety smooth finish, ideal for mixing and blending. Derwent Pastel Pencils are available in sets of 12, 24, and 72 assorted colors, each packaged in an attractive tin. Set of 12 contains process yellow, spectrum orange, cadmium red, violet, cyan, Prussian blue, forest green, pea green, sepia, yellow ochre, carbon black, and titanium white. Set of 24 contains all of the colors in the set of 12, plus Naples yellow, crimson, magenta, dioxazine purple, ultramarine, green oxide, olive green, raw umber, chocolate, terracotta, French grey dark, and aluminum grey.
