No. 1 Soft - Extremely pliable. use for making large sculptures. Easily scraped from molds.
No. 2 Medium - Generally used for portrait heads, busts, and figure work. Stronger than No. 1 but works smoothly and is the favored consistency.
No. 3 Medium Firm - A firmer grade used in making models of smaller objects.
No. 4 Extra Hard - Used in making extremely detailed objects like medallions.
