These Ampersand Artist Panels are economically priced for students and budget-minded painters. They feature an acrylic gesso surface on MDF panels for oil and acrylic painting. The surface has a canvas-like texture, which gives artists the advantages of a panel with the look and feel of canvas. The board’s cradles are made of light colored birch plywood that can be painted or stained. These cradled panels come with two profile sizes, a ¾-inch thick cradle, and a 1 ½-inch thick cradle.

The ¾-inch cradle can be hung on a wall, or placed into a traditional frame.
